Legate Phone System — Support

Legate Phone System is the company softphone for Legate employees, built and maintained by Basha Systems. It connects to Legate's own phone system and requires credentials issued by Legate.

I need an account, a password reset, or an access key

These all come from your administrator at Legate — the app's developer cannot issue them. Contact your administrator directly.

The app won't sign in or calls aren't coming through

Most sign-in and ringing problems are one of these:

• Your extension, password, or access key was entered incorrectly — all three come from your administrator.
• Your status is set to Offline in the app header — set yourself Available.
• On Android: battery optimisation must be off for the app, and Google Play services must be enabled, or calls cannot ring while the phone is asleep.

If none of that is it, your administrator can check the phone system's side.

Questions about voicemail, transcripts, or call recordings

Voicemail is a shared company mailbox and incoming external calls are recorded by Legate's phone system as a matter of company policy. Both live on Legate's own server — questions about access or retention go to your administrator. See the privacy policy.
